I Only Miss You When

I only miss you when I am alive,

I only miss you when you‘re not here,

and when you show upon my dreams,

oh and when I cry,

and also when I laugh—

I only miss you when I swim of the sea,

and when I‘m on dry land,

I only miss you when I breathe,

and when I eat,

and bathe

and when I sleep,

and when I wake again—

those are the only times

I miss you.
